Low-Slope Roofing

Low-Slope roofing is designed for areas with a low roof pitch. It is suitable for architectural designs that require a lower roof slope and a clean, modern appearance. When installing roofing on a low-slope structure, it is important to select the appropriate underlayment and installation method to support proper drainage and reduce the risk of water backing up at shingle joints.

  • Suitable for low-slope roofs and modern architectural designs
  • Allows for a cleaner roof profile with a lower pitch
  • Supports installation with suitable underlayment and waterproofing systems designed for low-slope roofs

Before installation, the roof pitch should be checked and the surface should be properly prepared to ensure it is smooth, clean, and suitable for the roofing system. Appropriate underlayment should then be selected and installed according to the product requirements. For shingle roofing, a roof slope of approximately 2:12 to less than 4:12 is considered a Low-Slope installation and requires special installation methods according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Roof slopes below 2:12 are generally not suitable for standard shingle roofing.
